CompuCash dashboard user manual

Dashboard is a visual summary format for the owners and managers to keep an eye on the sales results of your restaurant, cafe or shop and take action based on the data. You can use the dashboard nicely also in your tablet or mobile. Please find the Dashboard in the Sales module of CompuCash.

Dashboards

You can create various dashboards with a set of widgets. You can group the dashboards in different ways, e.g. one for summary results and one per each café you own. Or you can also make dashboards for different type of data (clients, sales, products, etc.), different periods of time (year, month, day) or different sales people (Mary, Peter, etc.). The dashboards and widgets can be created by your people whom you have decided to allow so and for whom we have activated the dashboard. All these people can see all dashboards created by your people but they can change only the ones created by themselves.

• Names of your dashboards will appear onto the narrow top panel
• to add a new dashboard please click
• give a name to the dashboard and save it
• to change the name of a dashboard or delete it please click

Widgets

You can add new widgets to each dashboard.

• Click the empty widget box.

• Choose which data you’d like to see in your new widget. At the moment there is a choice of 11 options: sales, no of clients, average invoice sum per client, etc.

• The new widget will be automatically given its type, i.e. for example Sales, and the period you have chosen (e.g. previous month), but in addition you can give the widget a more concrete name for future use, e.g. Café “Rooster”.

• You can narrow down you data choice with choosing just one or some of the sales points and sales people. Use the dropdown to make your choice. In default mode it includes all of them. Click Save and you are done.
• If you click on the widget it will open in the chart form. In the upper right corner you’ll find three dots and clicking there you can choose among different charts, change the name of the widget or delete the widget.
  
• To open the widget on the whole screen click the square icon and to get it into the initial mode click the arrow back.
• In order to change the choices in the widget you need to open it on the whole screen first, then make your new choices and save it. To close the widget, i.e. get it small again click in the upper right corner.

In the mobile or tablet you can add CompuCash icon onto you screen. To do it, please open your browser, click and it add to your home screen.
